 Collage
The relationship between a personal narrative to larger psychological, economic and sociological structures informs my collages. Integrating aspects of collective experience with the personal and cellular memory of the psyche, recent collages employ family snapshots, personal documents, emails, and letters to reconstruct intimate memories by transforming the initial image through a process of cutting, taping, or sewing.
